For most of the NFL, it’s already on to the next (season). The same goes for the oddsmakers in Las Vegas. While the Super Bowl 53 champions have yet to be crowned, that hasn’t stopped the bookmakers from looking forward to Super Bowl 54 in 2020.

Super Bowl 54, scheduled for February 2, 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, is still over a year away, but according to the wise guys, there are already a handful of teams that stand out above the rest. With that being said, here is an early look at who Vegas is picking to take home the Lombardi Trophy as Super Bowl 54 champions in 2020.

Odds courtesy of Sportsbook.ag as of January 20, 2019.

New Orleans Saints (+1000)

The Saints are currently the odds-on favorite to win Super Bowl 53, and on paper they are in good shape to be among the top championship contenders again in 2020 — that is if Drew Brees can continue to fight off Father Time and play at an All-Pro level for another season.

The Saints will have some key decisions to make this offseason (deciding whether to re-sign Mark Ingram and Will Lutz instantly come to mind), and they will be without a pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft after trading up to select Marcus Davenport in 2018. Still, this team has an outstanding core group of players (on both sides of the ball), and should be considered a Super Bowl 54 value at +1000.

New England Patriots (+1000)

The Patriots’ Super Bowl chances in 2020 rely solely on the presence of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. If one (particularly Brady) or both opt to retire this offseason, the Pats will likely go from one of the favorites to a borderline Super Bowl long shot.

And if we had to guess, Brady and Belichick will likely make their decision based on how Super Bowl 53 plays out. If they win their sixth Lombardi Trophy in Atlanta, we see them riding off into the sunset as champions and they greatest quarterback-coach duo in NFL history.

Kansas City Chiefs (+800)

This one is simple. The Chiefs are going to be a Super Bowl threat for the next decade (possibly longer), as long as Patrick Mahomes, the likely 2019 NFL MVP, stays healthy.

Los Angeles Rams (+700)

Thanks to Jared Goff’s rookie contract, the Rams are in the fortunate situation of having a roster that is built around a core of All-Pro caliber, non-quarterback, players (Aaron Donald, Todd Gurley, Aqib Talib, Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, etc.). On top of that, they are projected to have just over $36 million in cap space to work with this coming offseason, so this team could realistically be even better in 2020.

We are all about value here, and given everything we already know, it would make sense to lock in the Rams at +700 while you have the opportunity.

The rest:
