The 2018 NFL regular season only just started, but it’s never too early for the cream to rise to the top. Sure, a lot can change over the course of a year, yet it’s not too difficult to see which teams are preparing to be around for the long haul. Vegas is clearly taking notice.

Every team in the National Football League has its heart set on the Super Bowl. For some teams, however, the quest for the crown is nothing more than a fantasy. Only the other hand, according to Vegas, these clubs are already looking like legit contenders. Take a look and see for yourselves which teams are the odds-on favorites to win Super Bowl 53.

Green Bay Packers (+1000)

If their 20-point comeback against the Chicago Bears wasn’t proof enough that the Packers will go only as far as Aaron Rodgers takes them, then we don’t know what else to tell you. As long as No. 12 is under center, Green Bay has a shot at winning the whole thing. That’s why he’s the MVP frontrunner.

Philadelphia Eagles (+900)

It wasn’t pretty, but the defending Super Bowl champs still managed to pull out the W against the Atlanta Falcons in their Week 1 showdown. That’s what good teams do — they find ways to win. And yet, the truth is, we won’t know how good the Philadelphia Eagles can be until Carson Wentz takes the field. For Philly fans, his return can’t come soon enough.

Los Angeles Rams (+800)

Head coach Sean McVay has the Los Angeles Rams firing on all cylinders, and running back Todd Gurley looks poised to challenge for the rushing crown. The Rams defense is also fast, athletic, and nasty. The only thing this team lacks is depth. Hopefully, it can avoid the injury bug this season.

Minnesota Vikings (+800)

Minnesota knows how good it can be. That’s why it went out and signed quarterback Kirk Cousins this offseason. And so far, it’s hard not to be impressed with this NFC North club, which is beyond stacked on both sides of the ball. It’s early, but the Vikings are not going anywhere — except maybe Super Bowl 53.

New England Patriots (+600)

Are you shocked? Of course, you’re not. Like everyone else, you know that as long as Belichick and Brady are there, the New England Patriots will continue to be the team to beat in the AFC and a legit threat to capture the Lombardi Trophy each and every season. 2018 is no different.

Other notable teams to watch:

  • Pittsburgh Steelers (+1100)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars (+1200)
  • New Orleans Saints (+1500)
  • Atlanta Falcons (+2000)
  • Kansas City Chiefs (+2000)
  • Los Angeles Chargers (+2500)
  • Houston Texans (+2500)
