We’ve all (likely) seen the bookmakers’ early picks for Super Bowl 53 by now. But how do they see the 2018 regular season playing out? Here’s who they are picking to have the best overall regular season records in 2018.
Odds courtesy of BetOnline as of August 30, 2018.
Pittsburgh Steelers (+700)
The way we see it, the Steelers are a near-lock to be a double-digit win team in 2018. In fact, we see them winning no less than 12 regular season games this fall — even with Le’Veon Bell’s status still up in the air.
This is a veteran-heavy team with arguably the best offense in the league. They know how to win, and they have a friendly schedule. This is one bet we wouldn’t blame you for making.
Philadelphia Eagles (+700)
Bottom line: The Eagles the reigning world champions, and in our eyes, they got even better this offseason. They have plenty of challenging games on their schedule, but we would be shocked if the Birds aren’t serious contenders here in 2018.
New England Patriots (+400)
Surprise, surprise, the Patriots are the odds-on favorites here. Until someone else can prove otherwise, the Pats look like the cream of the crop in the AFC, and they have the added benefit of playing in the watered down AFC East. If Tom Brady stays healthy, this team could very well win 14 or 15 regular season games.

- Atlanta Falcons (+1600)
- Jacksonville Jaguars (+1600)
